Gonzalo E. Camacho, P.E. is a registered professional engineer with expertise in transportation planning and transportation/traffic engineering. Camacho is passionate about engineering in particular how to develop people friendly roadways.

Camacho created the I-45 Parkway & Tunnel concept following the basic concept of context sensitive design and with the assistance of many local and international experts in tunnel engineering.

After having research the I-45 Parkway & Tunnel concept for over two years, it is difficult to explain the many aspects and benefits that this type of project would mean for Houston short and long-term. Graphics and Public Relations Volunteers

One of the greatest pleasure about working on community projects is the opportunity to work with other volunteers. Their wealth of talent and desire to work towards a common goal is energizing and contagious.

Tom Dornbusch (on the left of the picture) offered his graphic talents early in the process. Tom is the creator of the I-45 Parkway & Tunnel logos and renderings that so well depict the concept developed by Camacho.

Tom is a civil leader and very involved with many civic organizations.

Jimmy Schriver (on the right of the picture) is also a civic leader and determined activist. Jimmy took upon himself the challenge to assist Camacho with all public relations required in the process of educating the public on the I-45 Parkway and Tunnel concept.

Jimmy has assisted Camacho on the many dozens of public presentations made to educated the public on the project. His energy, creativity and go-getter attitude makes the process a greater challenge.
